Though no longer making its mark on the salt, Larry Lancasters 1959 Chevy was a boss at Bonneville Speedway and El Mirage just a few short years ago!
Larry has 3 engines that all run Ross Racing Pistons. (2) Short Block Chevy’s and (1) 1953 GMC 6 cylinder that currently hold (4) Bonneville records:
- D/MP
- E/MP
- D/PP
- XO/BMP
And (1) El Mirage record:
- XO/BMP
The 59 Chevy pickup ran in E/PP and set the record 3 years in a row at Bonneville, however the record has since been broken. Larry currently competes with his 1992 Chevy and it holds the 5 current records. “It’s much more aerodynamic than the 59 and is much faster! All of our engines run your pistons and seem to be bullet proof. Chris Laduca helped me design and produce the custom pistons for each engine and the records speak for themselves. I am very happy with your company.
